UFC 134 Tickets Sells Out in Just 74 Minutes
Tickets sold out in just 74 minutes -- a fact defining UFC 134 as one of the most thrilling events to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this August.
The first day of ticket selling was a success. UFC 134 officials announced that the tickets for the first UFC event in Brazil for over 13 years were sold out in just 74 minutes. The said event will be held in August 27 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, featuring the match between UFC middleweight champion – Anderson Silva – and top contender – Yushin Okami – in a pay-per-view show.
The UFC 134 is expected to be watched by over 17,000 MMA fans. Dana White expects this event to be the first among the many shows that will take place all throughout the country next year, including pay-per-view events and UFC Fight Night shows.
As of today, UFC 134 would be the second UFC event to be held in Brazil. The first one took place in Sao Paulo in October 1998 – the “UFC Ultimate Brazil” (UFC 17.5)
