16,000+ UFC 134 Tickets Available Starting Today

Pre-selling of UFC 134 tickets was held yesterday. And as announced by UFC President, Dana White, general public can buy tickets starting today (June 17).
Yesterday, a pre-event media conference was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, wherein UFC President – Dana White – announced the dates of selling tickets for the upcoming UFC 134 event in August. There would be a total of 16,752 tickets that will be available, and general viewers can buy them starting today (June 17).
The UFC 134 will take place on August 27, 2011 at the HSBC Arena. This is considered to be the first UFC main event in Brazil for over 13 years. The said event caters few pay-per-view main cards, which include a middleweight title fight between Yushin Okami and Anderson Silva. But in Brazil, the entire card will be aired for free. The pre-selling of tickets started yesterday at 8 p.m. BRT local time (7 p.m. ET). General viewers can begin purchasing UFC tickets today around 11:30 p.m. at www.ingresso.com.br. The tickets will range from $163 to $1,000 (for U.S. only).
With many Brazilian fighters to be featured on the upcoming UFC event, tickets are expected to sell out soon.
