Kenny Florian to Battle Jose Aldo on UFC’s October Match
Kenny Florian grabs the chance to battle MMA's pound-for-pound best for the weight class’ fighter -- Jose Aldo.
During the UFC 131 event in Las Vegas last Saturday, Kenny Florian described his match with Deigo Nunes as a difficult, three-round affair. Right after the said battle, Dana White – UFC President – had made an announcement that he will challenge UFC Featherweight Champion — Jose Aldo.
Jose Aldo said at Sensei SporTV, a Brazilian television program, that he welcomes his new contender on his division and he is looking forward to meet Kenny Florian soon. “I think it’ll be a tough fight. I don’t doubt that. Florian’s name and reputation in the U.S. will make this fight marketable, so I think he’ll be my next opponent, probably in October.”
Currently, Jose Aldo is suffering from a neck injury but is expecting to recover right before the match starts. Although he didn’t mention yet which event in October the fight could be appointed to, there are several choices available. This includes the UFC 136 that will be held in Houston on October 4, a card in England on October 15, and UFC 137 on October 29 to be held in Las Vegas.View Article Source »
