Jake Ellenberger Wants Jake Shields Next

As soon as Jake Ellenberger gets his hand injury healed, he would like to take the challenge of fighting Jake Shields next.
During last week’s UFC 129, Jake Ellenberger doesn’t look like he only had two weeks to prepare for his fight against Sean Pierson. He actually came out strong, and was able to dispatch his opponent off the first round with a counter-left punch. However, Jake Ellenberger acquired a hand injury that caused him to go under surgery last Tuesday.
That said, the six or so weeks off due to hand injury will push Jake Ellenberger to take a bit of vacation. But when he fights again, he has one particular opponent that would like to take — that’s if UFC matchmaker, Joe Silva, will allow it.
Jake Ellenberger has been looking forward to fight Jake Shields next.
