Chael Sonnen Wants to Fight Rampage at UFC 130
It seems that Chael Sonnen will really fight any man God has ever created, even though they belong from another weight class.
Although Chael Sonnen has been out of action since August, he always had his eyes on the fight game. And now that Thiago Silva was pulled out of his UFC 130 match against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, the middleweight is willing to get into the spot. According to his manager, Mike Roberts:
“When Rampage’s initial opponent went down before all this fiasco was going on, before Hamill stepped in to take the fight, when that went down I was with Chael and he was like ‘I’d love to fight Rampage.’ And I was like, ‘but you’re at 185-pounder’ and he was like, ‘I’d fight him in a heartbeat,’”
Chael Sonnen actually spent a part of his career at 205 pounds. And if Anderson Silva decided to retake the road at light heavyweight, then he’d be just as happy to have their rematch at that division. But before any superfights come up, Chael Sonnen still needs to fix things with the Nevada State Athletic Division before he can go back to fighting.View Article Source »
