Brian Ebersole, Likely to Replace Carlos Condit at UFC 127
After Carlos Condit withdraws from the UFC 127 card due to a knee injury, the promotion has tapped Brian Ebersole to face Chris Lytle in the upcoming event.
Former WEC welterweight champion, Carlos Condit, incurred a knee injury that forced him to withdraw from his upcoming UFC 127 match against Chris Lytle. And likely to step in his stead is the MMA veteran, Brian Ebersole.
Brian Ebersole will make his UFC debut, as he face Chris Lytle in lieu of Carlos Condit. Now residing in Australia, the 11-year MMA veteran rides a seven-fight winning streak, including a notable victory over Carlos Newton at Impact FC 1 last July. Brian Ebersole holds 19 career victories by submission, and has never been knocked out.
UFC 127 will be headlined by a welterweight clash between Jon Fitch and BJ Penn on February 26. Also squaring off in a middleweight tilt are Micheal Bisping and Jorge Rivera. A lightweight scrap between George Sotiropoulos and Dennis Siver is also included in the card.View Article Source »
