UFC 127 Scraps Carlos Condit Due to Knee Injury

Sorry fans, but Carlos Condit will be out of the UFC 127 picture. Blame his knee injury for that!
Carlos Condit’s hope to lock horns with Chris Lytle at UFC 127 has been dashed due to a knee injury. It is said that Carlos Condit will be out of action for at least a month, being unable to compete inside the Octagon. As of the moment, UFC has not found any replacement for the former WEC champion to fight against Chris Lytle in the upcoming UFC 127.
Carlos Condit recently appeared at UFC 120, giving Dan Hardy a first-round knock out. That victory was followed by a TKO win over Rory MacDonald at UFC 115. After that, Carlos Condit gained a decision win against Jake Ellenberger at UFC Fight Night 19. Meanwhile, Chris Lytle, garnered a four-fight win streak over Kevin Burns, Brian Foster, Matt Brown, and Matt Serra. He said that he wants to close out his career with a title shot, but it’s currently vague where he stands in the picture as a title contender.
