It is important for someone who aspires to be a mixed martial artist to learn some techniques. One of the famous martial arts used in MMA is . It is a martial art, combat sport and self-defense system that puts emphasis on grappling and ground fighting. The originated from the Japanese martial arts of Kodokan Judo in the early 20th century. Gaining world fame in 1990 when Royce Gracie won the first ever Ultimate Fighting Championship, it teaches that a smaller and weaker person can defend himself against bigger and stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique.
