Jose Aldo Bows Out of UFC 125

UFC 125 has lost yet another co-main event as Jose Aldo pulls out of the event against Josh Grispi. A compacted vertebra that causes tingling in the arms has forced Aldo to withdraw. However, there are no announcement for a possible replacement yet.
Jose Aldo was presented with his championship belt last Saturday at UFC 123. His record at the WEC runs at 8-0, and he is officially recognized as the last Featherweight Champion in the promotion. Jose Aldo gained his spot to defend his freshly minted UFC featherweight title against Josh Grispi.
The UFC 125 is slated to take action on January 1, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The card will also feature Frankie Edgar’s UFC Lightweight title defense against Gray Maynard.
