Miguel Torres and Antonio Banuelos on UFC 126
Miguel Torres and Antonio Banuelos is slated for a bantamweight smash on UFC 126. This 2011, WEC champ Torres will defend his title over Banuelos.
Previous WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres (38-3 MMA, 6-2 WEC) is rumored (and expected) to fight Antonio Banuelos (18-6 MMA, 9-5 WEC) at UFC 126. UFC 126 will take its place on February 5 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The event is expected to feature a fight between champion Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort.
“The next couple of years are going to be exciting. I’m going to be at the forefront of that.” said Torres.
Soon, he will start his training at Tristar Gym with Firas Zahabi. Early 2010, he took residence with the famous trainer after years of self-coaching. He saw the advantages and decided to continue it.
Banuelos, on the other hand, just got back on the winning side with a unanimous victory over Chad George at WEC 51 event. The flagship members of San Luis Obispo, Calif.’s The Pit dropped a decision to Scott Jorgensen at WEC 48, which reciprocated a split decision victory he had at WEC 41 over top contender Scott Jorgensen.View Article Source »
