UFC 121 Fighters on Medical Suspension

Just like on the previous UFC fights, the California State Athletic Commission released the list of fighters who will face medical suspensions due to injuries acquired from the fights.
As usual, the California State Athletic Commission has issued the medical suspensions of fighters from UFC 121 event last Saturday. There are 13 fighters all in all including the heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. He was suspended for six months. In addition to this, co-headliners Jake Shields, Diego Sanchez, Court McGee and Patrick Cote are also facing the six-month suspensions.
Lesnar loss via TKO on the first round is roughly out for 180 days with no contact due to eye injuries. He also faces a 60 day suspension due to left cheek laceration.
Shields, who won against Martin Kampmann, is suspended 180 days with no contact because of under bleeding of the eye and blurred vision.
Sanchez, who won over Paulo Thiago, has a right-wrist fracture, resulting to an 180-day suspension.
McGee, the winner of “The Ultimate Fighter 11″ and a victory title over Ryan Jensen, has an 180-day suspension with a right-hand fracture.
Cote, suffered a decision loss to Tom Lawlor, has an 180-day suspension due to a possible eye injury.
Other suspensions included:
* Paulo Thiago: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 60 days due to a laceration; can be cleared early
* Tito Ortiz: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
* Brendan Schaub: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
* Gabriel Gonzaga: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
* Ryan Jensen: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
* Chris Camozzi: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 60 days due to a left-brow laceration; can be cleared early
* Dongi Yang: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
* Gilbert Yvel: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
