finally got his revenge after earning a unanimous decision win over . won his eighth consecutive match and retains his welterweight title at : Diaz vs 2 main event.

It is note worth taking, though, that the Cesar Gracie product changed his strategy by coming out orthodox. Diaz also used his reach to keep his opponent at bay. Early in the first round, Diaz rattled Noons with a perfectly timed straight right hand. However, KJ Noons made the score even at the second round and opened a cut over Diaz’s right eye. But in round three, Diaz frustrated his contender with straight punches that causes epistaxis for Noons.

And though KJ Noons were able to land a few shots, Diaz’s heavy blows were too much for him to handle. Diaz stormed with a stout knee and stiff one-two to end round four. He landed more strikes at a higher rate at the fifth round until the final bell rang. Scores were 48-47, 49-47 and 49-46 in favor of Nick Diaz. The crowd stood and cheered for the efforts exerted by both fighters.
