UFC Fight Night 22’s Bonuses and Awards
Yesterday's Fight Night 22 earned victories and bonuses to be all the more happy about.
Brian Foster, Sole Miller, Charles Oliviera, Kyle Kingsbury and Jarred Hamman each earned a whooping $40,000 on fight-night bonus performance last Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 22 event.
Foster earned the title “Knockout of the Night” while, Miller and Oliveira picked up “Submission of the Night” bonuses. Kingsbury and Hamman earned “Fight of the Night” honors.
The UFC Fight Night 22 took place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, and aired on Spike TV prior to the season debut of “The Ultimate Fighter 12.”
Foster got his award on the night’s preliminary card wherein his fight is the only one that didn’t got a decision. The HIT Squad fighter had dropped Forrest Petz with a straight fight and made his way to a 67-second TKO victory.
On the other hand, Miller and Oliviera earned submission awards on the night’s televised main card. Miller opened the night’s broadcast with a rear naked choke victory over “TUF 9” Ross Pearson. Co-headliner, Oliviera used the same move to a standing position to force a tap-out from TUF winner Efrain Escudero.
Kingsbury and Hamman meanwhile engaged in a rare crown pleasing 3-rounder on the prelim card. Kingsbury fights first time after a year and ultimately won back and forth bout thanks to a late fight punches which resulted in a unanimous-decision win (29-28 on all three judges’ cards).View Article Source »
