Gilbert Yvel vs. Jon Madsen on UFC 121
The Yvel-Madsen fight is set. The bout for UFC 121 is now official. With high hopes on winning, Yvel will do his best.
A fight between undefeared Jon Madsen (6-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and Gilbert Yvel (36-15-1 MMA, 0-2 UFC) is now official for UFC 121’s preliminary card. In addition to the Oct. 23 fight card are 11 other fights.
Madsen was initially slated to fight UFC castoff Todd Duffee (6-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC). But Yvel agreed to be replacement in August.
UFC 121 will take place on Oct. 23 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.and airs live on pay-per-view. There will also be a “UFC Prelims” special on Spike TV with the PPV broadcast.
