UFC Welcomes Karo Parisyan, to Face Dennis Hallman at UFC 123
Just when Dana White stated that Parisyan will no longer fight to the UFC ever again, "The Heat" was tapped to be "Superman's" kryptonite for the upcoming UFC 123 in Detroit. The lesson: never say "never."
Karo Parisyan, one-time top ten welterweight fighter, is now back to the Octagon to face Dennis Hallman at UFC 123 in Detroit. “The Heat” left UFC unceremoniously after dropping a fight against Dustin Hazelett in November 2009. His removal was followed by Dana White’s proclamation on Twitter that “He [Parisyan] will not be fighting Saturday or ever again in the UFC!” However, never doesn’t always mean never.
Since Parisyan left the UFC, he has only fought once and gained submission victory over Ben Mortimer in Impact FC held in Australia. Be that as is may, fellow Octagon Veteran, Dennis “Superman” Hallman is still happy to welcome the former 170-pound title contender back. Hallman also came back to the promotion in late 2009 after four years of being away in the Octagon. Since returning, he has gone 1-1 with a win over Ben Saunders and a loss by John Howard.
The Parisyan versus Hallman fight is possible to take part of the un-televised undercard. But there are no official announcement for the upcoming UFC 123 yet. More update will surely come, so don’t forget to check back more often.View Article Source »
