Many people are attempting to reinvent an existing sports to add more excitement and energy to life. And now, there comes a sports which combine football with punching. Sounds interesting, right?

Tracing its root in Italy, The Fight Football League (FFL) takes its inspiration from an ancient Roman game with the name Harpastum. Players must take the ball to the goal but in the process survive the punches given by the opposing members.

The FFL provides a brief background about the new sports:

“FFL Rules are manifold, it is allowed to fight only one against one, it is not alowed to strike when running or towards whom is running, no hit from the back or on the ground, injuries or KO’s can consequence into the elimination of the player.”
