WEC 51 Rolls Out Eight Matches

WEC 51--Sixteen cagefighters. Eight matchups. One fight. All has been set for the extreme action happening on September 30 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
The title match between featherweight defending champion Jose Aldo and “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 5 finalist Manny Gamburyan headlines WEC 51, which will be broadcast live on Versus network. Gamburyan previously knocked out another fellow-enlisted fighter, Mike Thomas Brown. Meanwhile, Maine native Brown has not experienced defeat in consecutive fights for almost six years now. His victories include toppling former featherweight king Urijah Faber twice.
Brown will go against four-time national wrestling championship Cole Province. This will be Province’s first time to get back inside the cage after serving a nine-month suspension after being tested positive for the anabolic steroid Methasterone.
There will also be a rematch pitting Donald Cerrone against WEC lightweight titleholder Jamie Varner. Here is the complete official (and unoficial) list for WEC 51 “Aldo vs. Gamburyan”.
