K-Swiss Acquires Form Athletics
Form Athletics is now under the wings of K-Swiss.
Form Athletics, a sports apparel company based in Laguna Beach, California is co-owned by WFC featherweight champion Urijah Faber. The apparel’s visibility was seen on MMA during the reign of Faber as his involvement with the brand.
Faber’s co-owner and brain of the company is Mark Miller, former SVP of DC shoes and founder of the M3 snowboard line. He saw the market of MMA and experimented on tapping the world behind it.
Form Athletics will continue to reign the business as a subsidiary of K-Swiss. The CEO remains on board as the Chairman Emeritus and will also lead the K-Swiss’ new Orange County division focusing on youth market.
Faber last fought in WEC’s main event on its first ever pay-per-view last April. Unfortunately, he lost the fight to Jose Aldo by unanimous decision on the 5th round. After his sudden loss, he decided to step down into bantamweight and was scheduled to fight Takeya Mizaguki at WEC 50 on August until an unexpected injury took this opportunity from him.View Article Source »
